land sales 1800 SEAGROVE (1800 732 476)

Beyond Seagrove's own parks, with barbecues and children's playground, walking tracks and the beach, there is a wealth of choices for people wanting to enjoy an active lifestyle.

Just a short distance from Seagrove, Cowes yacht club offers "learn to sail" experiences, as well as club racing, social activities, as well as casual "for the fun of it" sailing. The Cowes boat ramp is less than 700m from Seagrove.

Cowes also offers an 18-hole, 6028 metre, par 72 golf course, tennis courts, a fitness center with a creche and spa, and a lawn bowls club.

At Woolamai, on the island's spectacular south coast, the Woolamai Surf Lifesaving Club offers a great environment to make friends and keep fit. There are a range of walking and cycling tracks on the island - some regarded as among the state's best. From short walks in bushland settings, to the spectacular Cape Woolamai walk - from where you can take in the superb panorama of Phillip Island, Churchill Island, Western Port, Mornington Peninsula and the Bunurong Coast (on a clear day you can see Wilsons Promontory and during winter the snow on Mount Baw Baw).

Living on such a beautiful island, it is hard not to become passionate about the environment, and there are a range of community-based groups which can allow you to become involved and meet like-minded people. (Urban Landcare is one such group - to which all homeowners at Seagrove are entitled to a complimentary 12-month membership).

Phillip Island is also home to a thriving community of artists. The nearby cultural centre and galleries provide opportunities to become involved.
